Welcome to HARE and Beauty
HARE and Beauty is a beauty salon offering a range of treatments within an elegant environment. Our premises provide a space for aspects of beauty and wellbeing, including dedicated treatment rooms, a nail bar and a pedicure area.
With a commitment to excellence and personalised care, our team ensures that every client receives the highest standard of service in an immaculate setting.
A passion that began at school
HARE and Beauty was founded by Sophie Booth, formerly known as Sophie Hare, whose passion for beauty began during her school years. While managing five part time jobs, Sophie started offering nail services to her friends and family- a small beginning that quickly developed into a loyal and growing clientele.
Following her formal beauty training, Sophie launched her first business Beautifuel, providing mobile beauty services.
In March 2015, she rebranded as HARE and Beauty, a playful nod to her surname- and opened her first salon on Ruskington High Street.

The first HARE and Beauty salon opens on Ruskington High Street.
Sophie reinvests and purchases a larger property just five doors down.
A 12 room salon across two floors, continuing to grow and evolve.

Education & apprenticeships
Since 2017, HARE and Beauty has welcomed new apprentices, investing time and resources into mentoring aspiring beauty professionals and building strong foundations for their careers.
The salon has featured on BBC Look North, BBC The One Show, Sky News and ITV Calendar, alongside radio interviews, with Sophie frequently invited to speak as a trusted voice for the beauty industry.
