Hello! I’m Sophie, the founder of HARE and Beauty Ltd. I’m known for my bubbly personality, love for a good laugh with clients and deep passion for what I do. I pride myself on always giving 110% in every service I deliver. A few fun facts about me: my favourite colour is pink, I absolutely adore chihuahuas, and I enjoy playing the guitar in my spare time. I love days out and weekends away with my husband, Ross, spending time with our beautiful daughter Margot and relaxing with friends and family... though I also value my own quiet moments.
I enjoy having my own treatments, whether it be my hair or nails, lashes or feet or even a long relaxing massage! I think this is why I love what I do because I appreciate the value of a bit of 'me time'. I want my clients to enjoy every second of their experience.
How did HARE and Beauty begin? This is a question I get asked all the time! From the age of 15 to 18, I worked five part-time jobs while balancing school, sixth form, and college. I’ve always had a strong work ethic and a belief that nothing is out of reach. I knew I was destined to do something, even if I wasn’t sure what that would be at the time. At 18, I took the leap and opened a small salon in March 2015. I didn’t pay myself a penny for the first six months—I continued working evenings as a waitress and pot washer to ensure the business had a solid foundation. The risk paid off. In 2018, I purchased the larger salon we operate from today, and we officially became HARE and Beauty Ltd. Since then, it’s been an incredible journey of growth, passion, and teamwork. I feel so proud of what we’ve built and truly grateful for every client who walks through our doors.

I also have an established separate cosmetic business, Sophie's Signature. While I remain based within HARE and Beauty, this venture operates independently due to the specialist nature of the treatments offered and the requirement for separate insurance. I specialise in semi-permanent makeup, including microblading, combination brows and lip blush tattooing.
